The blade is finished in white with raised white etchings of a mostly floral design. The grips are a two-piece, wire-warped, pearl. An eagle is on the counter guard.
Tha brass scabbard is engraved and has two rings and a stud. It is profusely etched with designs along with a US Eagle with a ribbon in its beak with the motto " E Pluribus Unum ". The overall length is 36 1/2" with a31 1/2" blade. Solid and original sword, about 200 years old.
