The famous Reverend John Henry Hector of York PA. Good number of known images of him exist. There is no doubt this is him. Many of his images have the same double lapel studs and GAR fob. Drummer for the 11th USCT during the war.

Famous orator after the war. He spoke on his war experiences and was an activist in the temperance movement. Most of his known images are later on and also picture his wife and daughter. Shadle & Busser of York photographers. That might be his handwriting on the back. Looks like a dedication, but I have never seen his handwriting. About 4 by 6 inch in size.
