British Pattern 1853 cavalry sword and scabbard. The blade is full length and has a couple of small nicks that you can feel with fingernail.
The original bright finish still shows but it has begun to brown and has the throat washer. The iron three branch guard and grip are tight to the blade. The pressed leather grips show wear and are tight. The scabbard has an even brown patina with no dents, The top suspension ring is broke in two at the weld and slightly out of round.
