Thank you for looking at this antique New England, American apothecary cupboard. An exceptional mid 1800's walnut, with pine secondary, cabinet with 48 drawers, some have dividers within. All have escutcheoned keyholes, some with locks. All drawers have original brass numbers 1-48. The drawers are hand dovetailed and the secondary wood shows ample evidence of hand planing.Although the photos show 3 pulls missing, I removed one to photograph and forgot to reinstall for picture, I have one needing mending, so only one is actually missing. The pulls are likely gutta-percha. Chest measures 65" wide, 46.5" tall and 17 deep. The top is in very good condition and may have been refurbished. Location is North County San Diego. Items on top are not included. I often sell antiques and vintage items, sometimes they come with dust, scratches, bumps, bruises and the like. Most used and loved antiques are not perfect. I do try my best to research each and every item I find and give the best description possible including pointing out any flaws. I include the maximum amount of photos as an important part of the description. Should I miss something important about an item or make an error in the listing, please contact me. I treat you the way I would want to be treated. Your package will arrive as soon as humanly possible. I usually use all new boxes and materials. We are experts at packing and frequently double box. We video record what we pack to protect us and you should a claim arise. We do not control the rates. If you like, we will include a cost statement from the carrier.
